The composite average for all of Gwinnett was 1513. The national average was 1498.

It is the eighth Gwinnett class to take the version of the SAT that includes a writing section, the release noted. Possible scores range from 200 to 800 on math, reading and writing components.

This year’s SAT results were down five points locally, while state and national scores remained the same, the GCPS release noted.
