Best Is The Best ... Again ... in Suwanee

quarterback Billy Best has unveiled another talent: comebacks.

Best led his team on a , and capped it off with a TD pass to Darien Horn to seal the Region 7-AAAAA victory. This earns Best the honor as Suwanee high school player of the week.

“The kids never quit believing” said Peachtree Ridge coach Mark Fleetwood. “We work on the two-minute drill every week and this is why.”

Best was 17 of 31 passing vs. the crosstown rivals, helping to keep his team tied for first place with North Gwinnett in region play. He also earned the weekly honor earlier this season for his play against Newnan.

This week, the Lions continue region play at home against Norcross, which was knocked from the unbeaten ranks last week by North Gwinnett. The Bulldogs host Mountain View for homecoming.
