Final 2012 Home Weekend for Gwinnett Braves

The weekend of Aug. 24-26, 2012, will be the final one at home in 2012 for the Gwinnett Braves.

As usual, there is baseball and non-baseball entertainment.

For baseball, the Gwinnett Braves (60-73) have added veteran major leaguer Lyle Overbay. He was signed by Atlanta as a free agent and assigned to Gwinnett. Overbay scored the winning run Thursday as the G-Braves defeated Syracuse, 5-4, in 10 innings.

• Jersey Auction - Come out to Coolray Field and place your bid for a Gwinnett Braves game-worn jersey. Each jersey worn during the game will be auctioned off to benefit the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation!
