Gwinnett Braves Lose, Drop Under .500

Buffalo visits for Friday game.

The Gwinnett Braves lost Thursday to division leading Lehigh Valley, 4-0 at Coolray Field, and dropped under .500 (26-27) for the first time this season.

The visitors' Jeff Larish hit a bases-empty home run in the fourth inning for the only runs his team would need. Gwinnett managed just three hits. Loganville native Brandon Moss also had a home run and two RBI for Lehigh Valley. Erik Cordier (0-1) took the loss for Gwinnett.

The G-Braves host Buffalo on Friday at 7:05 p.m. at Coolray Field. Todd Redmond (3-5) will be the starting pitcher for Gwinnett. Every Friday is fireworks night after the game.
