North Gwinnett Girls Advance in State Basketball Tourney

North tops Archer to reach quarterfinals.

The North Gwinnett girls basketball team continued its state tournament progress Friday (February 22) in Suwanee.

North topped Archer, 66-42, behind 23 points from Lexie Brown and 17 points from Joshlyn Belcher.

North will play the winner of Saturday's Central Gwinnett-Alpharetta game in the girls quarterfinals. The state title game will be March 9 in Macon.

In Saturday's boys games, Peachtree Ridge will play at Shiloh. The boys AAAAAA title game also will be March 9 in Macon.
