North Gwinnett Teams Now Know 7-AAAAA Foes
North boys to face Mill Creek, North girls to face Duluth in tournament semifinals.Peachtree Ridge boys take on Norcross.
Let the game plans begin. North Gwinnett's boys and girls basketball teams now know their opponents for Friday's Region 7-AAAAA semifinals at Meadowcreek.
The North girls will take on Duluth, and the North boys will take on Mill Creek. Peachtree Ridge High's boys also made the semfinals and will take on Norcross.
The Ridge boys advanced with a 43-39 win over Suwanee rival Collins Hill on Wednesday. Brandon Jack had 17 points, including 10 in the third quarter when the Lions turned around a close game.

"We battled as a team and had some guys step up when it counted," said Peachtree Ridge head coach Keith Arrington.
All semifinals teams should advance to state tournament action beginning next week. The boys and girls AAAAA finals will be at the Gwinnett Arena in March.

Semifinals schedule:
Mill Creek-Norcross (girls), 4 p.m.
Peachtree Ridge-Norcross (boys) 5:30 p.m.
Duluth-North Gwinnett (girls), 7 p.m.
Mill Creek-North Gwinnett (boys), 8:30 p.m.
