Suwanee Now Has 2 Teams in Top 10 in AAAAA
Peachtree Ridge breaks through; North Gwinnett at No. 8.
has made it into the Top 10 in the latest statewide AAAAA football rankings, released Sunday by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The Lions joined Suwanee rival in the elite group after a 41-41 rout Friday over Gwinnett rival Norcross.
North Gwinnett remained ranked by beating Mountain View on Friday.
Both Suwanee teams are 6-1 and 4-0 in region play. This week, the Region 7-AAAAA games continue for both teams. The Lions host Duluth in Suwanee, and the Bulldogs take on Mill Creek.
