How Did Hammerheads Score on Recent Health Inspection?

Suwanee Restaurant Inspections: See the latest health checks of area eateries.

Hammerheads Seafood and Sports Grille, a popular sports bar and dining location in Suwanee, recently underwent a routine health inspection by the Gwinnett Health Department.

And the restaurant at 415 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Suite 100, received an "82/B" rating on Dec. 26. Among the violations noted:

Violation of Code: [.04(4)(a) ] Waitress handling lemons with bare hands then placing in drinks for customer. Lemons discarded and waitress put on gloves to handle lemons. Bare hands shall not be used when handling ready-to-eat foods (ie. cooked foods or washed fruits/vegetables).  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.

Violation of Code: [.04(6)(f) ] Cold-held potentially hazardous foods not maintained below 41oF; no time controls/documentation in place. See temperatures marked '*'. Food discarded. Cold-held potentially hazardous food must be maintained at temperature of 41F or below.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
