Multiple Violations Earn Suwanee Restaurant a 'U'

Suwanee Restaurant Inspections: See the latest health checks of local eateries.

The Umai Do restaurant in Suwanee recently underwent a routine health inspection by the Gwinnett Health Department.

And the restaurant at 2790 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, Suite 140 received a "60/U" rating on Oct. 30. 

Among the violations noted: 

Employee using gloves for multiple purposes including wiping down counters, handling dirty dishes then handling ready to eat foods( hard boiled egg) Egg discarded. Gloves removed and washed hands before donning new gloves. Gloves are to be used for a single use only.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.

Pork and seaweed salad in walkin not marked with a date mark. Prepared as long as 5 days ago. All potentially hazardous foods must be date marked and used within 7 days.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
